Potted heather plants require specific care to thrive:
1. Light: Place them in a location with partial to full sunlight. Heather plants prefer at least 4-6 hours of sunlight daily.
2. Soil: Heather prefers well-draining, acidic soil.
3. Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water when the top inch of soil feels dry.
4. Temperature: Heather plants tolerate cool temperatures
5. Fertilization: Use an acidic fertilizer once a month during the growing season (spring through early fall).
6. Pruning: Trim faded flowers to encourage new growth and maintain the plant’s shape.
