More than a store

Running a small shop was never just about making sales. Of course, sales mattered—they kept the lights on and allowed me to continue doing what I loved—but what I will carry with me far longer are the people.

Over the past seven years, strangers became familiar faces, customers became friends, and a community quietly formed around this little corner of creativity. It has been a privilege to celebrate your milestones, hear your stories, help you transform old furniture, and watch handmade pieces find homes where they will become part of everyday life.

This journey has also taught me resilience. Sometimes life gently, and sometimes not so gently, asks us to change direction. I’ve learned that it’s important to hope for the best while remaining flexible enough to adjust expectations when circumstances change. There is strength in knowing when to let one chapter end so another can begin.

As we closed the doors for the final time, I was overwhelmed by the kindness that filled the room. The beautiful send-off organized by my dear Anna, and everyone who took the time to stop by, share a hug, tell a story, or simply say goodbye, is something I will never forget. You reminded me that what we built here extended far beyond the walls of a shop.

There are, of course, mixed emotions. It is impossible to close a chapter like this without feeling a sense of loss. But more than sadness, I hope what remains is nostalgia—the kind that makes you smile before it makes you sigh.

Thank you for being part of this incredible journey. Your support, encouragement, and friendship have shaped me more than you know.

And while one door has closed, my hands and heart are already busy dreaming about what’s next. New projects are taking shape, and I can’t wait to share them with you. This isn’t an ending—it’s simply a different beginning.
